What is a Baron?
The Barony of Hidden Mountain represents the eastern portion of South Carolina, if you live east of Interstate 95, you are in the Barony of Hidden Mountain.
The barony is part of the Kingdom of Atlantia which includes most of the coastal states from Maryland to South Carolina with a small border outpost in the area around Augusta, Georgia. For information on activities in Atlantia, visit the kingdom web page at atlantia.sca.org.
Within the barony there are three subgroups (cantons) whose members not only participate in baronial events but also in their own local activities.
